Perfect Perfection
by Amelia Cramer In the start is where we all fail Never enough for the air Drown in perfect perfection Under no protection Wanting that perfection But not to share Wanting to start over Being the best of the best Wanting to be pleased with every breath Craving the perfect perfection Start the transformation Never being the same again For this is a new beginning All for that perfection Needing that attention All in the beginning Needing that perfection But in the end We learn We grow We believe We find ourselves In the dark with no light In the water with no air We find ourselves in the mist of the hurricane Send it away, send it away Send away this pain in my chest This pain on my brain Amelia Cramer is a 6th grade student at Oakdale Middle School. She has always loved writing poems and short stories, so she thought this would be a perfect way to get her work out there.
