"More than a feeling, that's the power of love..."
from "The Power of Love" by Huey Lewis & the News The Power of Love by Emily Wolfe It’s like having a warm blanket around you tight during the darkest and most fearsome nights It’s having a comforting hand to hold when your own hand is nothing but cold It’s someone to lift you off of the ground when you feel like you’re lost and can’t be found It’s the the strongest emotion known to mankind Love can make someone see who is blind So think about this in a time of despair One day you’ll find a person who really does care It’ll change your life and that’s for sure Love will make you feel so secure If there is one thing I wish for the world to know It’s the feeling of love before we go It’s not hard to do, it just takes a smile For someone to feel loved for a while In a world where hate is prominent Remember love will always be dominant Emily Wolfe is a junior at Linganore High School.
