Point of View
by Tabitha Moses
One with chapped lips, that are slightly blue,
Stars are shining along with the moon.
Hands reaching to the snow that is new,
But that is only one point of view.
Another one sits in a house,
Warm and happy without a doubt.
Drinking hot chocolate and eating some stew,
But that is only one point of view.
The third surrounded by loved ones,
Chatter and laughter filling their eardrums,
Feeling happy through and through,
But that is only one point of view.
And the fourth is standing alone,
Glassy eyes staring at the cold, icy stone.
Wishing the news they had heard was untrue,
But that is only one point of view.
