Managing Editor Elizabeth Anderson (@_elizanderson_) is a member of the Class of 2020. This is her second year working on The Watermark. Creative writing is her passion, but she also loves music, dance, art, and photography. She has participated in National Novel Writing Month four times and is currently taking a creative writing class as well as her third year of journalism. Spencer Derrenberger
Editor, Designer Spencer Derrenberger (@SDerrenberger) is a member of Class of 2019. His main hobby is art, but he equally enjoys video games, video production, reading, and writing. Much of his artwork and writing is inspired by the games he plays, such as Kingdom Hearts and Touhou Project. His works can be found on his Instagram, @thenopeland1, and is currently working on a comic series called Introvert-ED. His favorite book is The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. |
Cara Bond
Editor, Designer Cara Bond (@02cbond) is a member of the Class of 2020, and this is her first year working on The Watermark. She has been interested in narrative writing for as long as she can remember, but also has a passion for art, theatre, music, and history. She is currently involved in journalism and writes in whatever spare time she can find. Her favorite book is The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee. |
Emily Reed
Print Editor Emily Reed (@Emily_Jane_Reed) is a member of the Class of 2019 and is serving a second year as the print edition editor of The Watermark. Reed is in charge of arranging and then assembling the magazine into its physical form on the self-publishing software FastPencil. In her spare time, Reed dances and hikes with her adorable dog, Frosty. She also writes poetry and computer code (usually not at the same time). Her favorite book is A Doubter's Almanac by Ethan Canin. |
Beau Cameron
President, Creative Writing Club Beau Cameron (@beauba_tea) is a member of the Class of 2019. He previously worked as the editor for The Watermark, but now focuses on working individually with his club members, helping to polish their work before submission. He plans to pursue a degree in creative writing and turn his passion for writing into a career. Outside of writing, Beau enjoys visual art, hiking, fashion, and weird animation projects. His favorite book is American Gods by Neil Gaiman. |
